Becoming a Group Chair

The role of a Group Chair is exciting, energizing, complex and challenging. Our Chairs tell us it is also one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences of their entire careers.

Group Chairs can positively impact thousands of lives through Members and their organizations. It is a unique opportunity to apply your business knowledge, interpersonal and listening skills, and passion to contribute to the success of others by increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of CEOs.

Leadership Centers USA is growing rapidly, from 451 Members in 36 Groups in 2001 to over 800 Members in more than 80 Groups today. We need high-quality Group Chairs to continue to fuel this expansion. The ideal Chair is a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual who has been a CEO or high-ranking executive in a successful organization. Candidates must have experience in managing profit and loss, and must have well-established business networks within their communities.

The successful Group Chair possesses the following attributes:

  • Excellent listening skills
  • The ability to connect with people at all levels, quickly and deeply
  • The ability to instigate change in others that results in a change of outward behavior
  • A high need to make a difference

Today the ranks of Group Chairs include former CEOs, consultants and business coaches from a cross-section of industries. Regardless of their backgrounds, all Chairs have the insight to help business leaders succeed, and the passion and courage to affect real, positive change in their communities.

If you believe you have what it takes to be a Group Chair, we invite you to contact us. Send Chip Webster, president, an email with an attached resume or bio at chipwebster@mindspring.com or call him at 727-258-0059. If you can lead leaders, you may have found your perfect calling.
